At the Y, we're for youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. We believe everyone deserves access to opportunities that help them realize their full potential, regardless of ability to pay. That's why it's so important for the Y to raise contributions for those who need financial assistance.

Tri for the Y & 5K Run!

There's still time to register for this year's event on May 18th at the Casco Bay Branch in Freeport!  Not ready for a triathlon?  Try the 5K Run!  Visit our Tri for the Y webpage for more information.

Annual Support Campaign

We'd like to share a story with you about Jacob and Annie.  Jacob, a 15 year old high school student, was an average student who struggled with his grades and had low self-esteem.  Annie, Jacob's mother, wanted more for him; she wanted him to be a well-rounded student, happy and wanted him to feel good about himself.  Annie felt Jacob needed to set reasonable goals for himself and feel good with his accomplishments, big or small.

After Jacob joined the Manta Rays Swim Team, his self-esteem and his grades improved temendously.  Because of the positive coaching he received daily from his swim coaches, he has become dedicated to school and the team.  He continues to strive on working on his personal goals and his swim times.  Jacob is in a great place and an inspiring leader in the community!  The reason we are sharing this with you is because we want to make sure every child and parent can be impacted by the Y like Jacob and Annie, regardless of ability to pay.

Give today. Change a life.
