Financial Assistance and State Subsidy / Voucher Programs

Both the Y’s Financial Assistance Program and the State’s Subsidy/Voucher Programs are resources to make sure your child is able to access our summer camp programs.

We are happy to help you in your decision making by discussing your options and answering any questions. A link to the Y's sliding scale is available below so you can determine roughly where you may fall. You can also review information on the various State subsidy programs and their qualifications.

Y Financial Assistance serves a broader group of families, with fewer qualifications to meet.  However, for families who qualify, the State subsidy/voucher programs often result in a lower cost per week of care. We will support your family through either process, whichever is right for your needs.

Completed financial assistance applications, or camp applications with subsidy or voucher programs, are due two weeks prior to the start of your first camp week. This will help ensure that your child’s paperwork can be processed in time for the start of camp. (We encourage you to complete this process as soon as possible; several camp weeks and specialty camps do fill up quickly.)
