OUR CAUSE

We know that lasting personal and social change comes about when we all work together. That’s why, at the Y, strengthening community is our cause.  Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. 

Our Focus

We are a cause-driven organization that is for youth development, for healthy living and for social responsibility. That’s because a strong community can only be achieved when we invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors. We do this through our focus on:

Youth Development: Nurturing the potential of every child and teen.
Healthy Living: Improving our communities’ health & well-being.
Social Responsibility: Giving back and providing support to our neighbors.

For All - these simple but profound words sum up our mission and our commitment to our community. We are strongest when we make sure everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive at the Y.

And while it is critical that our YMCA provide access to services that is free from discrimination, our work calls us to go far beyond this.
